The REAL CLUB MARITIMO DE SANTANDER asked our shipyard, Metaltec Naval®, to build a boat to operate as the COMMITTEE boat in the SAILING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2014 in Santander, approved by the ISAF (International Sailing Federation). The results are very satisfactory, recognised by the organisation and by the international judges involved.

The project was to replace the mythical wooden boat “JOSEFA”, which for more than 40 years provided its services to this entity. Respecting its aesthetics, we achieved an attractive design for the new “GROUCHO”. Built in naval aluminium, incorporating the last generation technology and with equipment that improves the performance and safety for the crew.
